Fruit fly eradication response

$43 million over two years to undertake significant emergency fruit fly response activities following further outbreaks across the Riverland and the Adelaide metropolitan area.


Economic Recovery Fund

With an additional $32.2 million allocation in 2027-28, the total value of the Economic Recovery Fund has increased to $154.2 million over the forward estimates.


Strengthen South Australia's green economic credentials

$28 million over four years to consolidate the state’s credentials in the environmental, social and governance context. Funding supports planning for sustainable economic activity, emergency management, environmental protection and protecting biodiversity assets.


Net zero agriculture

$24.4 million over five years for net zero agriculture to develop and deliver innovation, on-farm solutions and support the upskilling of the agricultural sector to reduce emissions through low emission intensity farming systems, and to support the state’s target to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.


Building a South Australian destination brand

$20.8 million over four years to accelerate adoption and consumer awareness of a distinct South Australian destination brand through tourism marketing, increasing the state’s appeal and awareness, both interstate and internationally, and supporting our regions.


Business Events Fund

$14 million over four years to expand the Business Events Fund with a focus on supporting more events during winter periods.


Growing the defence industry

$6.8 million over four years to increase Defence SA presence at major exhibitions locally and overseas, in the United States and United Kingdom, to increase brand awareness and industry promotion in AUKUS projects.


Investment attraction

$6 million over four years to extend the investment attraction program and the global expansion program to support economic growth through investment attraction and export uplift.


Whyalla accommodation for hydrogen jobs plan workforce

$5.8 million over two years for 32 cabins to ensure the Hydrogen Jobs Plan construction workforce can be housed during project delivery.


Achieving net zero across EPA licensed entities

$4.8 million over four years to implement a regulatory framework to assist licensees reduce emissions, and support government meeting its net zero targets.


Brand SA

$4.3 million over four years to enhance Brand SA’s functions to promote South Australian products and businesses and the South Australian brand through market engagement and campaigns, industry partnerships and brand strategy.


Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Act implementation

$4.1 million over four years for the implementation of the Act and Regulations, including the preparation of regulatory tools needed to support world-leading large-scale hydrogen and renewable energy projects in South Australia.


Green iron and steel strategy

$3.6 million over two years to support the implementation of the government’s Green Iron and Steel Strategy. Funding will facilitate an expression of interest engagement with prospective industry partners to jointly investigate the key activities to de-risk the necessary investment required to support a viable green iron and steel industry in South Australia.


Whyalla steelworks transformation

$1.7 million over two years to enable the Whyalla taskforce to continue to support the long-term sustainability of the local steel industry in South Australia.


SA Young Entrepreneur Scheme (SAYES)

$380 000 over two years to extend and expand to all age groups the SAYES program, a business mentoring and learning program designed to help South Australian entrepreneurs establish a business or further develop and grow their existing business.
